Tired of feeling tense or restricted when you walk? Aches & pains
Ready to move with greater ease, better posture, and more comfort?
Join our Walking with Ease class and learn simple ideas from the Alexander Technique to improve how you move—whether you're walking for fitness, leisure, or recovery.
You’ll discover how to:
Move with less effort – reduce strain and walk more comfortably
Improve posture – align your body for fluid, natural movement
Enhance clarity – calm your mind and stay present
Cost & Booking
Only £10 per class.
As the classes are small, I would advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment, or you are welcome to drop in and see if there’s a space free.
What do I need to wear and bring?
Wear normal clothes that are comfortable to walk in, appropriate to the day's weather. If you have a bag, you will be carrying it with you.
About Tanya
Tanya Shoop is a highly experienced Alexander Technique teacher. She has 'analysed' many different walks - the most unusual one being someone who landed with their toe first on one foot and the heel first on the other. This person could eventually walk with more ease and in a straight line!
In addition to her group classes, she works one to one with people from her studio in Bowes Park, N22.
Time: June 2, 2025 from 12:30pm to 1:15pm
Location: Pavilion & Sports Cafe (outside), OR Tambo Park, Albert Road, N22 7XL
