A resident has told me that Bowes Road Library will also be self-service with no professional librarian on-site.  I hope this isn't the case.  Library users regularly need assistance when carrying out research, trying to locate material etc..

The residents information is likely to prove to be accurate...LBEnfield is looking for volunteers to help out and provide reassurance

Enfield Council may well be running down the library service and swimming pool (much maintenance needed) with a view to selling it off.  More flats or a private gym/spa?
