So nice to stroll down the high street and chill on the grass with my dog. No bins overflowing with rubbish and clean grass banks and only one drinker! Mind you it was 4pm, but what an improvement. Result of the council or community?

The Community! Certainly not the council. The Path is owned by Thames Water - who mow it and do sometimes collect bad waste ahead of a mow.  But it is cleared up regularly by local volunteers.  Thank you to all of them.  If you would like to join the rota..... pop in and tell Emma at Killick Stores.  And.....I think that the chaps who booze on the banks have started to behave better, and take their rubbish to the bin - fingers crossed that continues.  Thanks also to the local police SNT for keeping an eye on it.
