La Coppia - Italian deli/cafe in Myddleton road
Just really wanted to give this new local business a plug - their stock is a bit limited (but good quality) at the moment, but they say they are going to expand. Great people (Italian obvs), have made the space feel really inviting, and triffic coffee! Soho of north London here we go...

...and don't forget the new Greek place, Hellenic Gourmet just down the road which has also had excellent feedback. Myddleton Road is on the up!

hi its nice to have italian deli/cafe there hardly any thing around bounds green tube they should provide italian restarunts wich would be nice and also did dinner and dance and italian shops with in our local area thanks

I went to La Coppia for lunch today - lovely people and a very smart cafe with great coffee and a small range of great quality authentic food - highly recommended! A lovely range of Italian ice-cream too. They are planning to start opening in the evenings soon. Exciting to have a new business on the road and a good complement to Mum's (great coffee there too and very friendly) and of course the fabulous Step. Thanks to everybody who is helping to revive Myddleton Road.

I went for the first time on Sunday and it was great. Tasty foccacia and mozzarella sandwich. The ice-creams looked yum and although small, it has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I shall be back!

Agree. I had a very nice takeaway Latte from there today. I was in the area checking out the housing and a few roads. I have to admit Myddleton Road has a fascinating appeal. Reading up on the history of the place, the recent attempts to revive it, stopping by George Moore's etc, and seeing what a beautiful road it was and could be again, all give it a peculiar mystique.
If I end up moving to the area I hope it ends up thriving, and i hope i have the time to join the community groups to help it happen.
