Can anyone else help?

We'll be doing a mass door drop of leaflets next month for the Myddleton Road Market on 16th June, and have already got some very kind offers of help across Bowes Park and Bounds Green.

We'd really appreciate any more offers especially anyone living off Green Lanes or nearer Wood Green. Very keen to make sure those neighbourhoods are also involved.

Many thanks.

Hi Lucy, I can probably help do a couple of streets near my road, which is Lascotts - email me lindseymclarke@gmail.com

Thanks Lindsey!

I went to the saturday biunds green farmers market this morning and must say how disappointed I am that hardly any people attended. I was a regular there last year and glad it had opened again, but there are fewer stalls this year.

I am Worried that if a market were to open on Myddelton Road, this would move even more people away from our local farmers food mArket, at the school, unless the two are going to be joined together?

Would you pls let me know what kind is stalls will show their wares at the Myddelton market

I agree with others, the Bounds Green Market promised a lot when it first started - but it feels less impressive now. I don't think the description of "Farmers Market" is correct. It seems to be mainly street food, whereas I would prefer an opportunity to buy fresh ingredients: veg, fruit and cheese etc. to cook at home, rather than eat a burger in a school playground.

I understand the first couple of events are test trading ... but I hope in time the Myddleton Road Market will regularly include good fresh food, bread and veg.

News today that the North London Artisan Market is pulling out of trading at its Bounds Green School venue means that we need to ensure this new venture is succesful and thriving.

I've never been to the Bounds Green market as I use Alexandra Palace - but that's a shame as it takes time and effort to get these things off the ground.  As per the reply below, I noticed Ally Pally went through a stage of way too many food stalls - a better balance was restored after stall holders complained.

Happy to deliver to Goring Road.

I think the Bounds Green School market was pretty good last year but really lacking basic stalls at moment (didn't go today), ie fruit and veg, bread...

Not sure the back of a school is the right location.

Thanks so much Laura, can you provide your email address please, and we'll be in touch when theyre good to go!

Last time I went to the Bounds Green market I got brilliant fruit and veg and the creole food. I guess they rotate who they have week on week with focuses on different traders.

Hi Lucy

I am on Melbourne - between Green Lanes and Palmerston - I'd be happy to leaflet a couple of local streets, and of course big-up the market on B&B! :)

Richard

Thanks Richard that's brilliant. There'll be a pimms for all our lovely helpers on the day! Can you msg me your email please so we can keep you in the loop when leaflets are ready.
