Joe Studman - City Guide and Associate of the Institute of Tourist Guiding -will be leading a walking tour of Palmers Green on Sunday 21st July 2013.
In association with the Enfield Society.
It’s amazing to think that not much more than 100 years ago Palmers Green was just a pub and a post office. This walk will tell the story of the growth of N13 and the characters that influenced its development. A 90 minute walk looking at Palmers Green before and after the spread of Edwardian suburbia. Hear about Billy Biscuit, Loch Melville, the elopement in a laundry basket and the air crash of 1912
