Event Description
On Saturday 10th September 2011, Alexandra Palace Ice Rink are holding a Skating Gala to support the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation and in memory of Alexandra Wylie, an amazing girl who sadly passed away from cancer in November 2010, aged just 17.
Allie was a keen member of Alexandra Palace’s skating club and is missed by everyone at the rink, young and old alike. The skaters are putting on this event in her memory and to raise money for the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation.
The Gala will be opened by the one and only ALAN RICKMAN (Professor Snape from Harry Potter!) , and the evening will include several amazing skating performances, including some special guest appearances such as Dancing on Ice’s KYRAN BRACKEN (English rugby player)< Celebrities, including One Direction, the X Factor boy band, have shown their support for the Gala! There will be food, including krispy kremes and cupcakes, and drink on offer throughout the evening!Doors open: 5pm
