As part of the AP&Beyond Festival the Step will be hosting exhibitions of artwork inspired by local landmarks.

One of the artists in the exhibition - Megan Sinfield - has featured on this website before as our picture of the week

Megan will be at The Step in person on  Saturday 23rd June between 2-4pm where you will be able to ask her questions about her work, what inspires her and her artistic techniques. The exhibition will remain on view at the Step from Thursday 21st June to Sunday 22nd July

Megan likes to focus on depicting "Places that are maybe overlooked or ignored. ... not beautiful, although some have a faded grandeur of beauty past its prime, now run down and falling apart." So it's no surprise that she found inspiration in Myddleton Road, Bowes Park. with images of both Lyons cafe and George Moore's Menswear.
