SALSA WITH SUREKA presents exciting and unique 4-week Beginners and Intermediates Salsa Courses! SEE SPECIAL OFFER BELOW!
We offer fun and friendly classes to give you the confidence to step onto the dancefloor. Get fit, make new friends and develop a new passion!
PLUS: Join us for drinks after class and Salsa parties in authentic Salsa Clubs every month!
Beginners Salsa Course with Sureka
You will learn the basic steps of Salsa, the rhythm of Salsa music, the techniques of leading and following and the style and body language to look good and feel confident on the dance floor.
Prerequisite: No previous dance experience necessary and those with 2-left-feet are warmly welcomed!
Intermediates Salsa Course with Sureka and Sean
Now that we've got you dancing, you will learn new routines using the basic steps you've mastered. There will be greater emphasis on the techniques of leading and following, musical interpretation and styling so you can start to really express yourself on the dance floor.
Prerequisite: Completion of a minimum of 3x 4-Week Beginners Salsa Courses or equivalent experience. Individual evaluations available upon request.

Beginners: 7pm-8pm
Improvers/ Intermediates: 8.30pm-9.30pm *with social dancing from 8pm-8.30pm

Aww thanks Donald :) Yes Miss Chubby arms is hosting a dinner/salsa party for Samaritans on Saturday! Not sure who got it wrong, me or the journalist, but I meant the Samaritans' work was amazing not the derelict building lol! And just to answer a few questions:
1) You are welcome whether you dance or not and will not be required to dance - you can chat, eat, drink and socialise with your neighbours in a lovely setting while raising money for a great cause!
2) You can come alone or with friends as you will be greeted by lovely friendly people and if you want to learn Salsa, this is your perfect opportunity!
2) You are perfect for this event - there is no such thing as too old/fat/thin etc in a Salsa club - it is a friendly, inclusive environment suitable for everyone of any age (over 18), background and dance ability but you are welcome to come just for dinner if you prefer (Plan is Ciao Bella, Russell Square at 6.45 followed by dancing at ULU, Russell Square from 9pm till late)
3) To join us: Your £5 donation to Samaritans gets you discounted club entry/ £10 donation gets you entry into our amazing prize draw too!
