Alexandra Park is home to many birds, and what better to do on May Day than get out into the Park to look at them. On Sunday morning Gareth, one of our local experts, will be helping us to identify anything we spot, and Gerry our local bird ringer, will be explaining what bird ringing is all about, and giving us the chance to see a few birds very close-up.
Do bring binoculars if you have them, and suitable footwear.
The walk is free, and there is no need to book - just meet at 8 am on Sunday in The Grove Car Park. The walk will take a couple of hours, although there is the opportunity to carry on longer if you wish.
No Booking Required
