The Help - (2011) US directed by Tate Taylor (Cert. 12).

To celebrate Black History Month, join the Sankofa Reading Group at the screening of The Help.

Set in the deep North American South, this film is an inspirational, courageous and empowering story about very different, extraordinary women in the 1960s who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project - one that breaks society rules and puts them all at risk.

Filled with poignancy, humour and hope.

Start and finish time: 6.30pm to 9pm. Film starts at 7pm
