Our next book is Rose Tremain’s The Road Home, for 20 October (book club is on the third Wed of every month).

Please note that the starting time has been changed to 7:30 pm. We aim to finish around 9 pm.

Could people please bring an idea for the next book they’d like to put forward – written on a folded piece of paper. We can then put the bits of paper in a hat, or something similar, and draw out one at random.

Feel free to bring a short story or poem to start the book club. And to make it more sociable, perhaps something to drink and some nibbles?
