Our August outing will be to Kenwood House, on the north side of Hampstead Heath. The house is “is a masterpiece created by the famous 18th-century Scottish architect Robert Adam” and is full of paintings and things to draw (it also is well provided with seats).The grounds are beautiful, with many trees, a lake and an ornamental bridge - so lots to draw there too. There is also an excellent café. Entrance to the house is free. Non-drawers are welcome to join us.

Meet at Bounds Green tube station at 1.30 to go to Finsbury Park for the 210 bus which goes all the way to Kenwood, taking about 30-40 minutes.
