Saturday 21 May:  Fifth Anniversary Walk, Trent Park.

Meet at Bowes Park Railway Station at  12.50 pm to take the train to Winchmore Hill. From  Winchmore Hill Station we will walk into Grovelands Park,  pass along Park Gardens and drop down into Oakwood Park. From this park Lakenheath Road will take us up to Oakwood station where we’ll enter Trent Park and will proceed towards Church Wood and the café where we can take a rest. Those wishing to walk further can do a circular walk of Trent Park. Return will be either by the 299 bus from Cockfosters or by tube to Bounds Green. The walk is on pavements and through parks, although most of the paths are good please be aware that they can become muddy especially if it has been raining. The walk will take about 2.5 hours.
