The Vintage Blues Music Association with The Friends of Broomfield Park present Broomfield Blues 2015

The best Blues Music brought to you every Sunday afternoon in August on the Bandstand in Broomfield Park. The Vintage Blues Music Association, who run the highly acclaimed St Harmonica’s Blues Club in Southgate, give you some of the finest bands and professional artists in a terrific parkland setting complete with hot food, ices, refreshments and a licensed bar. Thanks to sponsorship from Winkworths, admission is free and if you like the music, voluntary contributions into the hat are very welcome.

Broomfield Blues The Real Folk Blues Sunday 16th August 1.30pm – 5.30pm 
Gearoid O’Meachair brings his band, Tressell, comprising all Irish champion musicians to give their take on Appalachian and Blue Grass with a distinctly Celtic feel! The Low Down Dogs provide acoustic and electric blues that meanders from the Mississippi Delta via Memphis and Chicago to the New River Delta! Mad Dog Dave Barnes possesses the best Blues voice in the business with a band to match comprising Vintage players John Crowther, Dave Thomas and Pete Abernethy on drums.
