David March, Friend of Broomfield Park and the Orchard Coordinator, will give an illustrated talk on how this Community Project has developed over the last 5 years.
The orchard has 31 different varieties of apples as well as mulberry, pear, medlar, wild plum, cherry, damson and quince – and 3 beehives.
Come and find out how it was done and taste some samples!
If you want to develop a Community Orchard or just want to know how to grow fruit trees successfully in your garden this is a meeting for you.
