BPCA Walking Group walk along Regents Canal from Islington to Limehouse Basin.
This is an easy, level walk, of around five and a quarter miles, and very interesting, going past locks and boats and decaying warehouses and ritzy new flats (see our Walk Guide 3 on the BPCA website). You can leave the walk more or less anywhere and catch a bus, or two, back home.
Meet at Bounds Green tube station at 1.30 pm to travel by tube to the Angel Islington, where the canal is a short walk from the station. We shall stop in Victoria Park for a cup of tea/loo stop, and at the end of the walk have the option of going on a little bit further to one of the pubs by the Thames.
