CANONBURY AND HIGHBURY. Two Georgian Villages of Islington

Walk leader: Robert Young

Date: Saturday, 14th November

Depart: Bounds Green Station. 1.15 pm

Arrive: Highbury & Islington. 1.30 pm

Length of walk: 2 hours plus a refreshment stop between Canonbury and Highbury

Finish: George Orwell's local pub near Highbury Corner

This is a guided walk around two historic and attractive Georgian districts of London. Both of which have Tudor origins, and offer a large variety of quirky details, history, architecture, local characters and green spaces to enjoy.
