Join us at Bruce Castle for an afternoon of activities celebrating Luke Howard's work and exploring what his achievements mean today.
Next year is the 10th anniversary of the City of London Urban Climate walk and Tottenham Clouds will be developing an Urban Climate Walk for Tottenham, the first of a community network of urban climate walks.
This involves:
Julie Futcher, the urban climate architect, who designed the City of London urban climate walk will be guiding us through the process.
There will be talks on climate, energy, weather and what the international community is doing and what we, locally, are doing to tackle the challenge of climate change. The talks will be by Pamela Harling (En10ergy), Alan Morton (En10ergy) and Quentin Given (Friends of the Earth).
Anthony Howell will be reading from Luke Howard’s essays.
The day will end with a video message from the Dutch artist, Berndnaut Smilde, who creates indoor clouds.
Free, all welcome. No booking required.
