From Thursday 11th to Monday 15th June, the ancient craft of charcoal burning returns to Queen’s Wood with a modern twist with Rivenwood Coppice.
Come along and learn how it’s done and the many benefits of buying British Charcoal for your BBQ. Queen’s Wood Local Nature Reserve is a 21ha (52 acre) remnant of Ancient Semi Natural Woodland in Haringey.
Richard, I went to visit Iain yesterday and added a post about him on Harringay Online when I got home.
Come and look and buy a bag of British Lumpwood Charcoal.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/47046427@N03/sets/72157654103247290
It was great to see Iain and colleagues in the wood, very informative on the process, and we also had an interesting discussion on possibilities for different types of artists charcoal.
