Event Description

THIS SUNDAY: 1.30-4pm
Collective Decision-Making & Kurdistan
Land Justice Popular Education Circle

In co-educating ourselves around Land Justice we are gradually equipping ourselves with the knowledge and tools we need to take action to meet our own needs. This upcoming circle on collective decision-making has been chosen and designed by our local community to specifically prepare ourselves in advance of our upcoming Local Community Assembly on the 8th June (2-6pm). This assembly is where we can finally put all the ideas, feelings and thoughts had in these circles, into a practical space of collectively taking decisions on how we will act to meet the very needs of ourselves and our local community.

Collective decision making is nothing new, and has been practiced by our ancestors across the world for millenia in various forms. Genuine structures of people-led democracy are born from struggle, as such we'll be focusing on Kurdistan to champion their work on building and implementing systems of people-led decision-making.

Our popular education circles on #LandJustice happen (usually) every last Sunday of the month with a slightly different focus each session. Come along and get clued up alongside others in order to start enacting change!

Drop us a DM for any questions.
