A BIG ONE OFF EVENT!

Big Green Books are delighted to welcome Holly Walsh to the bookshop for a very special Edinburgh fringe preview Show.

An acclaimed stand-up and writer, Holly’s an established talent in both fields. In 2012 her sitcom, Dead Boss, co-written with Sharon Horgan aired on BBC3 and has since been commissioned for a pilot episode by Fox Network for the US.

Her stand-up credentials were established with her 2008 Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards and confirmed with an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination three years later for her debut Fringe show, Hollycopter. The show also enjoyed a sell-out run at the Soho Theatre in 2012.

Holly has featured on many of the top TV comedy shows including, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Would I Lie To You? and Mock The Week, as well as hosting the Channel 4 series, TNT, alongside Jack Whitehall.

As with all our stand-up nights, tickets are just £5 and you can bring your own refreshments.

Unlike our other stand-up events, this will be tickets only. We CANNOT guarantee you entry if you turn up on the night.

Your host for the evening will be the delicious Chris Brosnaham.
