Dear Friends,

I am pleased to inform you that under a community project supported by Haringey council, Asian Centre has organised a 6 week course on Healthy Cooking.  It is part of a campaign to lead a healthy lifestyle through healthy eating for everyone including vegetarians and vegans.

About the Course
Find out how to combine fresh, everyday ingredients into tasty dishes which support key aspects of health.  From hormone balancing recipes to digestive supporting salads, steamed dumplings to energy packed breakfasts, this course is brimming with fantastic ideas and information about some of the world's healthiest as well as tasty foods.  Handouts containing recipe details of the food cooked during the sessions will be given to the students. There will be a tasting at the end of the session.  You will also have an opportunity to publish your own recipes in a cookery book.

Aims and Objectives
The main aim of this course is to provide students with the skills to combine fresh, everyday ingredients into tasty dishes which support key aspects of a healthy lifestyle.  The preparation of the dishes is demonstrated by the lecturer and discussed in the context of therapeutic cooking.

Day and Time:  Class on every Friday, from 1 pm to 2.30 pm (Starting from 18/01/13)
