Event Description
The second of two classical chamber music concerts focussing on a composer and putting them in a historical and musical context. The Debussy programme is for flute and piano and centres around his epoch-making Prelude a l'apres midi d'un faune, including the solo flute piece Syrinx, two piano preludes and music by Saint-Saens, Faure and Poulenc. An introduction to the programme will be posted on purchase of tickets. Children 6 and over are welcome. A home-made chocolate brownie is also part of the programme!
