A special preview screening of a new film with local connections "Dreams of a Life" at Cineworld Wood Green
The film looks at the true story of Joyce Carol Vincent (38) who died in her Wood Green bedsit, only to be discovered three years later after being forgotten by friends, family, lovers... When she was found, she was surrounded by half-wrapped Christmas presents and with the TV still on.
The film was made by British director Carol Morley and premièred earlier this year at the London Film Festival.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Carol Morley and the film's star, Zawe Ashton and has special relevance as it is literally below where Joyce was discovered.
Connecting the communities of Bowes Park and Bounds Green in north London.
