Event Description

Nostalgic WW2 presentation by Mike Brown with period artefacts to bring back memories for those who were there and intrigue those who weren’t.

Mike Brown is an authority on the British Home Front in the Second World War and has written several books on the subject including Evacuees of the Second World War and The Wartime House: Home Life In Wartime Britain 1939-1945.

Doors open at 7.30pm for the sale of refreshments and publications and close at 8pm. The main doors have to be closed at that time for security reasons, so anyone arriving after then  will be unable to gain access.

A donation of £2 is requested from non-members.
