Join Mike Donovan, author and sports writer, for an illustrated talk about his new book on Spurs - 'Glory, Glory Lane'. He will tell the story of Spurs' world-famous football stadium - a Victorian structure, turned 'wraparound 21st century all-seater', attracting fans devoted to the ‘Spurs way’ of achieving glory. It is a story and a place which has provided unforgettable memories and legends for thousands of followers - from its origins with the founders commemorating Harry Hotspur, to football legends Blanchflower, Nicholson and Greaves, and Harry Kane via Harry Redknapp. Mike will tell the story with a mix of his own personal insights, coming from a Spurs-supporting family who have attended the Lane for eight decades.
And Mike also hopes to bring along a surprise guest. So, watch this space!
Copies of the book will be on sale before and after the talk.
