The work in this exhibition has been created by the first Palmers Green & Southgate U3A Art Group, which was formed in November 2014. Many of the group were beginners, interested in learning more about drawing and painting. Others were keen to develop their skills further within a group context.
The Art group is led by Diana Wolzak, a professional artist and art tutor. Her professionalism can be seen in the students’ rapid development, but added to this the group’s consistent enthusiastic motivation has resulted in the quality of the work in this exhibition.
Baskervilles has generously offered us their teashop to show the work, so do visit the exhibition and enjoy a cup of tea and cake!
Palmers Green U3A membership is open to anyone no longer in full-time employment - there is no lower age limit (or higher age limit for that matter). For full details of the U3A's activities, visit u3asites.org.uk/pgs.
