This lovely afternoon community festival is on Saturday 17^th September this year (2.00 to 5.30):  something to look forward to after your return from summer holidays!

 We need volunteers to help on the day,  especially if you have transport and can help collect and set up on the day.  We’d also be very grateful for offers of cakes, savoury snacks, plants that can be potted up now and objects for the Tombola stall (unwanted new things for adults and particularly children).

There are a lot of local artists around:  why not contribute a small piece of work to make the Tombola more exciting and advertise your skills?  Any offerings can be left at Killick Stores  in Myddleton Road where Emma has kindly offered to collect gifts.
