In our next Land Justice popular education circle we'll be focusing on building our food sovereignty and how a just food system is a necessary part of repairing ourselves and our relationship to the land.
Many of us can only afford to buy supermarket foods pumped full of harmful chemicals, not to mention being too time-poor and landless to grow our own food. We're forced to survive in a system that is gradually poisoning us, whilst those responsible continue to grow rich off the lands and
abundance that was stolen from us.
Across the world, the people are choosing another path of Planet Repairs by taking back their lands, growing their own food, reconnecting and repairing our ecosystems and relationship to mother Earth.
Join us on September 1st at Wolves Lane Centre 1.30pm-4pm
We'll also be looking for practical ways to link these discussions with building food sovereignty locally, as well as linking our local struggle with our global family (specifically the delegations of Indigenous Peruvian Women of the FENMUCARINAP who will be visiting our community in November as part of the Decolonial Open Communiversity)
Arrive a little earlier for the session on Sunday and grab some delicious food from the cafe (sliding scale £) and connect with the foods and plant life in the glasshouses.
Connecting the communities of Bowes Park and Bounds Green in north London.
