Haringey Literature Live: Fiction Night with Sara Langham and Nick Parker
Thursday 5th December 2013, doors open 7pm, readings start 8pm sharp
Join us for lively, thought-provoking readings of poetry and fiction! You can browse books, take part in our open mic session, and order drinks and delicious gastro tapas if you wish. Entrance is free!
Sara Langham was a Jerwood/Arvon Young Writers’ Apprenticeship award winner, was shortlisted for the inaugural ‘To Hell with Publishing Prize’, and longlisted for the Mslexia first novel prize. Her short story ‘Bridges’, published in Ambit magazine, was praised in TimeOut by Nicholas Royle as a ‘notable debut’.
Nick Parker’s most recent book is The Exploding Boy and other tiny tales. Other books include Toast: Homage to a superfood andBling, Blogs and Bluetooth: modern living for Oldies, columns from the pages of The Oldie.
