Hi! I’m writing about a project to build a new boardwalk in Alexandra Park Wetlands. We’re looking for support to make this happen. 🌿 The Friends of Alexandra Park are teaming up with Alexandra Park & Palace Charitable Trust for our 20th anniversary. This boardwalk is the next step in our wider wetlands creation project, and it will make wildlife in the south-east corner of the park more accessible. Milestone reached! 🎉 All new donations now DOUBLED to help replace the Wetlands bridges

We’re absolutely blown away! Thanks to your continued generosity, we have now reached our stretch target of £15,000. 

While the first £10,000 secured the construction of the boardwalk itself, hitting this £15,000 milestone means we can now kickstart the next crucial phase of the project. As you can see from the map below, we are aiming to improve the entire wetland route by replacing and upgrading all the bridges crossing the wetlands. To fully realise this, we need to keep the momentum going and raise even more. 

To help us get there, we have some incredible news: we have secured a brand-new £2,000 match funding pot!  

This means that every donation will now be doubled, making your support go twice as far. Every extra pound raised will go directly toward funding the wetland bridges, ensuring the route is safe and accessible.
