Did you know our local area has played a significant role in the history of bird photography? Beginning with the Kearton Brothers who took a photograph of a Song Thrushes’ nest in Enfield in 1892, this inspired R.B. Lodge and Oliver Pike, both of Enfield, to become bird photographers. It continues up to the mid-20thcentury with the work of Eric Hosking, a long-time resident of Crouch End, who is regarded as the Father of modern bird photography.
Join us for this talk by David Cottridge, Tottenham local and internationally-renowned wildlife photographer in his own right.
Doors open from 7pm. Refreshments available.
