**Talk starts at 8pm** Ken Brereton explores the development of the Tottenham Sewage Works and in particular the installation and restoration of the Markfield Pumping Beam Engine.
Ken Brereton is currently Chairman of the board of trustees of the Markfield Beam Engine and Museum. He became involved as a volunteer at the end of the 1990s and has worked closely with Haringey Council on the regeneration project for Markfield Park and restoration of the Beam Engine.
