Event Description

A master of the tenor sax, Mornington Lockett fuses his unique style with his equally talented peers, being joined by Stu Butterfield’s highly established beats and a touch of Green’s responsive playing. A quartet not to be missed, this is your weekly dose of smooth and soulful jazz.

Mornington Lockett has been described by Time Out as “one of the country’s most acomplished contemporary improvisers…with a fearsome technique and an advanced harmonic approach” so make sure to catch him at this local gig while you can. Highly respected and award winning players John Critchinson, Dave Green and Stu Butterfield will also be accompanying to complete this quartet.
