Haque Magazine is a new publication from Hackney and East London Writing Circle. We are celebrating its launch at Pogo Cafe, 76 Clarence Rd, Hackney E5 8HB, webpage:-pogocafe.co.uk, and would love you to join us on 30th Jan from 7pm. Food and drink will be available. 

There will be readings from the magazine, ranging through an account of a family Christmas ("Merry Istmas") and its aftermath ("One Last Bauble") to science- fiction ("Time Encounters"), social satire ("In A State"), fantasy ("The Parcel"), internal monologue ("D I Y"), comedy ("Rich and Famous") and naturalistic
vignettes ("Brilliant" and "Aunty Bunty"), as well as a number of short poems, reflecting something of the diversity of Hackney & East London Writers' Circle.
