These are exciting times for Myddleton Road with new shops opening and lots of refurbishments going on.
It’s still really important that the local community spends money on the street and shows support to the local traders.
So, We Love Myddleton Road are going to hold another Cash Mob!
What’s that?
It’s a simple way to use the community’s spending power to make a difference to our local shops, to show them some support and to meet some of your neighbours.
You simply pledge to spend £10 in the street’s shops or businesses and then turn up at a set time and get buying.
When’s it happening?
11am on Saturday October 31st – yes, it’s a Halloween Cash Mob!
Just turn up and meet everyone at the junction of Myddleton Road and Marlborough Road – outside the Red Sea Supermarket.
We’ll then head off to spend our cash in all the great businesses on the road
“Favourite Finds”
In the run-up to the Cash Mob, we also want the local community to share their Myddleton Road “Favourite Finds” – those amazing little discoveries you’ve made in the shops, bars and restaurants on Myddleton Road that other people in the community just might not know about!
You can post your Favourite Find below by completing the sentence: “My favourite find on Myddleton Road is…”
And if you’re on Twitter post something there including the @WeLoveMyddleton hash-tag, so we can retweet-it.
See you on the 31st!

My favourite find on Myddleton Road is the arancini at La Coppia, especially the spinach one. Delicious!
My favourite find on Myddleton Road is the feta cheese at Hellenic Gourmet! Giving it to visiting friends has become something of a 'party trick' as they cannot believe quite how good it is...
Great topic. Favourite finds on Myddleton Road? Where to begin...
The spianata (spicy salami) from La Coppia
The paprika cheese from Hellenic Gourmet
The kebanos from Domipol.
The Cheetos Spirals from Ayta Food Centre (seriously... imagine a giant Wotsit - and every bit as good as the description suggests!)
I love the naan breads in Ayta - massive, fresh breads from Wembley.
Red Sea have a really good line of herbal teas, I love the peppermint and ginger.
Londis stocks good veggie food in the freezer inc. Quorn and my favourite Linda McCartney sausages.
My favourite find is the fresh apple pie from Domipol.
The dried figs (partially rehydrated) 200g at The Red Sea supermarket are softer and tastier than many others I've tried; great value too.
My favourite find on Myddleton Road is Spinach Arancini at La Coppia. Buy one, take home and heat in the oven for 5 -10 mins, make a healthy salad.... and you have a wonderful meal.
