Great to see everyone this week and to see such enthusiasm for improving our neighbourhood.

I have uploaded the findings and visuals from the mini-survey which shows where people are located, the things they like about living here and the things that could be improved - you can download it here.

One other area for investigation is a new government funding programme Our Place which "aims to give people more power over local services and budgets in their neighbourhood" - the initiative is being run by voluntary sector agency Locality who have this week distributed details of the grants available to community organisations.

Lucia - just had a look at the planning camp - I would volunteer to go to on one (with someone!) - could only do this in March - not April - but maybe there is sufficient experience in the group already.  Also 'Our plan' from Richard looks interesting.  Good to see that there are these initiatives - but I felt that maybe the emphasis at the moment is just on MR - I completely understand why - as I can see it's crucial!
