Hertfordshire-based duo (Rob Garcia and Paul McNamara) specialise in translations of songs from Breton, French and Quebecois traditions. Also expect traditional songs and tunes from the British Isles, Asturias and Brittany, Paul's original songs imbued with a keen sense of history, and expert accompaniments and instrumentals on guitar, mandolin and mandola.
na-mara have played at clubs and festivals across the UK, in France and Spain and featured in broadcasts on BBC Radio 4 and a host of local radio stations.
Their recent albums 'Navajos & Pirates' (2015) and 'The Bite' (2010) have received critical acclaim from a host of local and national folk magazines with tracks broadcast on a range of folk music radio programmes across the UK and beyond.
