That’s right ladies and gentlemen… it’s been a monumental year and we’re hosting a New Year’s Eve party at The Step to toast an incredible 2012 and welcome in an even more swashbuckling 2013.
And we’re delighted to say that a musical treat is heading to Bowes Park!
We’ve pulled off a stunning coup and lined up the fantabulous Trio Manouche to play at The Step on NYE for a night of first-rate live music. Trio Manouche and Special Guests will be playing hot gypsy jazz & swing to get our joint sizzling to see the New Year in with real style.
So get your glad rags on and join us at The Step in 1930s getup for the best shebang in town. We’re talking braces, swish brogues & homburg hats for the boys and for the gals? Oh my, we’re thinking glamorous dresses, killer heels & drop dead red lips…Lana Turner eat your heart out!
There’ll be no queuing in the cold, just friendly faces a-plenty and our usual feast of quality music… gypsy jazz for the dance floor generation! It’s advance tickets only and numbers are limited so don’t wait, hesitate or leave it too late.

Trio Manouche are one of the UK’s leading gypsy swing ensembles, performing inspired re-worked classics of Django Reinhardt in addition to highly acclaimed original material penned by Simon Harris, bringing a unique and contemporary twist to this increasingly popular genre. It’s gypsy jazz for the dance floor generation!
Since forming in 2005 the trio have performed in top Jazz venues, including Ronnie Scott’s and 606 Club, concert halls from Kings Place to Barbican Hall and major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, The Mostly Jazz Festival and Shambala Festival. The trio currently have a residency at The Ritz London, have just released their first EP Fall In Love With Swing, reaching no 3 in the online bandcamp charts and are also regular guest performers on various BBC Radio shows including a recent performance & interview on Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’.
