A talk by Keith Plummer (Eric Robey Trust) about Cakebread Robey & Co Ltd of Wood Green which was founded in 1882. A supplier of materials to the building trade, for decades the company was well-known for its etched glass and stained glass windows. With its main works at Caroba Works on the High Road in Wood Green and additional premises in Tottenham (and outside Haringey), some of the best examples of glasswork can be seen at local public houses, namely The Queens on Tottenham Lane and The Salisbury on Green Lanes, as well as ecclesiastical windows at St Michael's Church in Wood Green. A chance to see the real stained glass that has recently been added to the collections at Bruce Castle Museum.
