Event Description

In support of International Women's Day and Oxfam, we're holding a get together at the very family-friendly Maynard Arms in Crouch End on Thursday 8 March from 1-4pm.
We'd love for you to join us!
  • Bring a friend/friends and enjoy lunch at this lovely pub who are supporting our event
  • Meet new mums/dads and babies from the area
  • Donate to a great cause – all proceeds to Oxfam from the following:
    • Raffle: fabulous prizes up for grabs!
    • Baby clothes, toys and equipment swap: do you have any new/nearly new clothes, books, toys or equipment gathering dust? Add to our pile and pick up something new to take home
    • Face painting: make your little one's day with a fancy face
    • Baked goodies for sale
Why get together for Oxfam?
As new mums, Oxfam's initiative struck a big chord with us. Every woman should have access to the medical care in pregnancy and childbirth that we were so fortunate to have, and we want to support Oxfam in this and other efforts to support women around the world.

Thanks to everyone who made it to our International Women's Day, Oxfam Get Together at the Maynard on Thursday. It was a fantastic day and all inspired by local mum Helena.

 "Exhausted but elated - fantastic get together for Oxfam today at The Maynard Arms on International Women's Day. Through a raffle, bake sale, clothes/toy swap and facepainting, we raised £501! That's enough to train 10 teachers in Mali and 5 midwives in Ghana. The turnout was about 70 people across the day and everyone enjoyed themselves I'm very proud of the ladies" Helena
