Event Description

PALMERS GREEN COMMUNITY MARKET
Your local community market is tucked away at the back of Palmers Green Station in the car park and is there every Sunday from 10am until 2pm. On the first Sunday of every month (this Sunday) local mums are putting on a bigger event.
A new resident face painting artist can transform your child into any animal, monster or beautiful creature for the day. We run a crafts stall and football drop in for donations only. A cellist and flutist, and resident nursery rhyme, banjo playing, one-man-band, will encourage even the shy kids to sing on the open mike,  As it's Mother's Day, children can make beautiful gifts and volunteers are selling cut flowers. There is a wide range of specialist cakes - Wendy Mae's are gluten free - which you can enjoy at our picnic area with a cup of specialist ethically sourced tea. Norbitons Finest Cheeses are now joining us fortnightly. We will also have our usual veg, butcher, specialist breads, chutneys, soups, natural knits, soaps and creams, plus other gift ideas. Finally, if you want to do a spring clean and make some extra cash why not have a car boot for £5 - call Shelley 07976765938 to book now!  We are also trying to build a network of local gardeners that swap and sell plants, vegetables and windfall. A local resident also wants to harness local plants to make creams, natural detergents, make-up and oils. Email us on palmersgreenmarket@gmail.com if you want to find out more or get involved.
