Event Description

Join us for Women's History Month in Haringey to hear from three local women who have become involved in politics as they share their true-life encounters with events that have changed the world and our own locality.

Councillors Zena Brabazon, Julie Davies and Sheila Peacock recount stories from their own experiences, living through the American Civil Rights movement, the Iranian Revolution and chronicling how Haringey has changed over the past 50 years. It promises to be an interesting and engaging afternoon, hearing from those who have witnessed first-hand some of the most significant historical moments of the 20th century
