Arranged through an organisation known as the Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is traditionally observed from the 18th to the 25th January - the octave of St. Peter and St. Paul. However, some areas observe it at Pentecost or some other time.

Churches of various christian traditions will have invited preachers from another denomination to preach to them. Some preachers and some congregations will find this easier to cope with than other congregations.

Welcome the pilgrim stranger in your midst, or accompany and support your minister preaching in a different church - it may be a venue that you have always wanted to see inside.
