Event Description
Please come and help the Big Spring Clean. We will make Bowes Park clean and rubbish-free - with your help. Litter-pickers and gloves are available - but do bring your own if you have them. Bags provided. Wear strong shoes. Families with children welcome - we have some Graptor Litterpickers just for the kids.

Thank you to the 18 people, adults and kids, who came to Tidy Bowes Park.
The grand total of rubbish was 29 full bags of general waste, 12 full bags of recycling, one large smelly suitcase and a sodden blanket.
The New River Path, the path by the railway, and many local streets were made lovely.
