Event Description

  • David Lindo, the Urban Birder, will enthral us by recounting how birding became a lifelong obsession and led to a high-profile career in writing, in television and guiding.
  • His urban birding adventure has taken him from watching ‘Uncle Bird’ and ‘Spoonwings’ from his bedroom window as a child in London to uncovering unusual species in strange parks in Mexico City.
  • He has made a name for himself by proving that there is plenty of natural life in the most barren parts of our cities.
  • His philosophy is simple: “Look up!”
  • You can book a place either by email or by leaving a message on 07851 765626
  • A donation will be requested on the night from non-members
