Wanstead to Chingford (full walk 8 miles, drop-off points at 4 miles or 6 miles).

Meet at Bounds Green station at 11am.  The walk will include Wanstead Village Green, the 'Elizabethan' Wanstead Park and the southern stretch of Epping Forest up to the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge. There will be a pre-walk lunch at Wanstead Village, a pub refreshment stop at Woodford and a pub at end of the walk.

The walk is easily shortened to suit your legs. See following suggestions, for distances.

Option 1: 4 miles to Snaresbrook. (Snaresbrook Underground Station)

Option 2: 6 miles to Woodford. (Bus 20 from pub to Walthamstow Central Station)

Option 3: 8 miles to Chingford. (Train to Walthamstow Central Station, Victoria Line)
