Programme:

This is a series of workshops aiming to let the participants learn Chinese cultural knowledge and practise the techniques of using brush to write and paint their own art works.

10:00pm-10:30am Introduction:
Chinese Brush paintings and culture knowledge

10:30am-12:00pm Painting practice:
Demonstration to show participants some basic brush painting techniques on drawing different flowers, plants and animals subjects. Participants follow the tutor to practise on special paper at same time. . Individual instructions will be given during practice to help different students make a progress in Chinese painting.

12:00pm-1:00pm Design and paint on lampshades:
Participants can choose from the subjects given to practice and take his/her own painting home.
