This is a series of workshops aiming to let the participants learn Chinese cultural knowledge and practise the techniques of using brush to write and paint their own art works.

1:00pm-1:30pm Introduction:
Introduction to the Chinese brush paintings/ calligraphy and materials.

1:30pm-3:00pm Chinese painting practice:
Demonstration to show participants the basic brush painting techniques through “Four Gentlemen” subjects, i.e. plum, Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum, and other subjects as fish, shrimp and bird. Participants follow the tutor to practise on paper at same time.

3:00pm-4:00pm Design and paint on clothes:
Participants can choose from the subjects given to practice and take his/her own painting home.

Notes: Participants can also bring their own single light colour cotton T-shirts, shirts or skirts to create more art works.
